  41. to you for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your friends,

  58. may be used by any number of people and may be freely moved from one
  59. computer location to another, as long as there is no possibility of it
  60. being used at one location while it's being used at another, just as a

  63. Commercial users of Print Commander! must register and pay for their
  64. copies of Print Commander! within 30 days of first use.

  66. Anyone distributing Print Commander! for any kind of remuneration must
  67. first contact Sorcerer Software at the address below for authorization.
  68. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  69. recognized by the ASP (Association of Shareware Professionals) as adhering
  70. to its guidelines for shareware distributors, and such distributors
  71. may begin offering Print Commander! immediately. However Sorcerer Software
  72. must still be advised so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with
  73. the latest version of Print Commander!

  105. These printers often are set to different default parameters than dot matrix
  106. printers. They frequently, for example, start up in letter quality rather
  107. than draft mode. We have available to you a specific Print Commander!
  108. configuration to resolve this problem--just let us know your needs when you
  109. order.)

  111.                              REGISTRATION OPTIONS

  113. When you register with Sorcerer Software we will send you a version of the
  114. Print Commander! printer utility that:
  115.  
  116.         1. Contains no nag screen or other registration information;
  117.         2. Is smaller, thus occupying less conventional memory when resident
  118.            and less space on your hard disk;
  119.         3. Is optimized for your computer's microprocessor, making it both
  120.            smaller and faster.

  122. You may choose from three Print Commander! registration options:

  124. I.   PRINT COMMANDER!
  125.  
  126. This package of printer utilities includes:

  128.         Print Commander!        Registered version
  129.  
  130.         Print Commander!/W      Microsoft Windows compatible version.
  131.  
  132. This registration entitles the user to one registered set of Print
  133. Commander! programs. Registration notification will replace the request for
  134. registration and the nag screen will be absent. The program will be
  135. optimized for speed and size based upon the user's microprocessor
  136. architecture. The various Print Commander! features will NOT be optimized
  137. and configured for the user's printer make and model, that is, the
  138. Print Commander! screen will look the same as in the current unregistered
  139. version. The opportunity to upgrade to a version made specifically for
  140. your printer is available by contacting Sorcerer Software directly.

  147. II. PRINT COMMANDER! COLLECTION

  149. This collection of printer utilities includes:

  151.         Print Commander!        Customized for your printer and processor.

  153.         Print Commander!/W      Microsoft Windows compatible version.

  155.         EZread                  A DOS text reading utility that displays text
  156.                                 on screen and allows you to scroll through it
  157.                                 one page at a time. It may be used in place
  158.                                 of the TYPE command provided with DOS.

  160.         Spool Commander!        Printer spooler that can be configured to
  161.                                 spool 1 to 64 KB and send it to LPT 1, 2,
  162.                                 or 3. Configured by the user, it can be
  163.                                 unloaded from memory and can be loaded high.

  165. These utilities are customized for your Intel or Intel compatible
  166. microprocessor's architecture. Additional details can be found in the
  167. invoice file, PCOM_INV.TXT.

  169. III. Personalized Print Commander!
  170.  
  171. We will customize a version of Print Commander! for your printer, using
  172. features specific to your printer, such as your printer's own fonts. Contact
  173. Sorcerer Software for details and additional fee schedule. Examples are
  174. displayed below under "Sample Configurations".

  176.                       DESCRIPTION OF ADDITIONAL PROGRAMS
  177.  
  178. The Windows compatible version of PRINT COMMANDER! can be run in DOS or
  179. Windows and provides all the capabilities of the TSR program. It is
  180. compatible with both Standard and 386 Enhanced Mode Windows 3.x. Although
  181. this is written as a DOS (rather than Windows) program, it runs particularly
  182. well in 386 Enhanced Mode in a DOS window, and instructions for proper use
  183. are included.

  190. EZREAD is a text reading utility that displays ASCII text files on the
  191. screen. It can be used in place of the TYPE command that is part of DOS.
  192. This is another very small, fast program that allows you to scroll through
  193. your text files one page at a time, unlike TYPE.
  194.  
  195. SPOOL COMMANDER!, a printer spooler, intercepts output going to the printer
  196. and holds it until the printer is ready for it. This means that control of
  197. the printer can be returned to you almost immediately so that you can return
  198. to work. NO MORE WAITING ON THE PRINTER! Anyone who uses a dot matrix or
  199. ink jet printer needs to use a spooler. Spool Commander! occupies
  200. very little memory on your hard disk, on appropriately configured machines
  201. can be loaded high, and like Print Commander! can be UNLOADED from memory.
  202. It can spool up to 64K of output. Spool Commander! can be used with any type
  203. of file, including text files, word processor files, and even graphic files.
